I am a lawyer representing a client who has been SLAPPed for doing public interest work and would like to apply for funding support.

The Protect the Protest task force maintains a legal defense fund to assist attorneys in representing public interest actors who are facing SLAPPs. At this time, we provide support up until and including the motion to dismiss phase of litigation. We do not provide funding for discovery or trials.
